About This Project

BATTERSEA HIGH STREET, LONDON

FROM AQUISITION TO PLANNING:

Salte acquired a derelict site in Battersea in February 2014 direct from the owner. Having identified the potential and engaged with Wandsworth Council, consent was secured for the demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of two new buildings. These comprise one 3 bedroom mews house to the front of the site and to the rear a separate apartment building with 7 new self-contained units.

The new design uses a modern industrial language, aiming to echo the properties’ historic use and setting.

Salte disposed of the site in December 2014 through Allsops.
